Lambda Minimal is an editorial template for design studios and portfolios. It combines a deliberate light and dark theme, self-hosted Fraunces and Geist, MDX collections for work and journal, file-based prose pages and a token-driven design system. Alpine.js handles the few interactive pieces without taking over the site.
Publish an archive, not a grid of thumbnails
Case studies carry client, year, type, scope, recognition and credits, with a sticky info bar and a prev/next pager.
Own a real dark mode
A separate companion palette with its own accent, hairline and heading tokens — applied before first paint, so no flash.
Change one token, change the site
Colour, type size, tracking, container width and motion duration all live in theme.css.

A complete website. Every page in the live demo is included in the download — 14 pages in total, with content, layouts and components already assembled.
Node, a package manager and comfort reading TypeScript and HTML. Content lives in typed data files and MDX; styling lives in Tailwind v4 tokens. You do not need to know Astro deeply, but you should be able to run a dev server.
Use it for one personal or commercial site, or for a client project. No reselling or redistributing the template itself. Read the full terms on the license page before you buy.
