About
An independent studio building Astro templates with a clear point of view.
Lambda Studio builds Astro templates for people who can edit code and would rather not start from an empty repository. Every template is designed, built, and maintained by the studio—not assembled from a component marketplace.
The catalog grows one considered release at a time. Each template is created for a specific kind of site, with enough structure to be useful and enough flexibility to make it your own. Compatibility and version information stay visible on every product page as the collection evolves.
Each template is a one-time purchase with the source included. No subscription, no locked sections, and no proprietary builder. Start with a finished system, adapt it to the project, and ship it wherever you choose.
Principles
Design should feel intentional
Type, spacing, and colour are decisions, not defaults. A template should look like someone chose it.
Code should be understandable
Typed data, clear component boundaries, no clever indirection. You should be able to read it on day one.
Templates should accelerate, not constrain
Tokens, collections, and layouts are there to be changed. Nothing is locked behind a build step you cannot see.
How the templates are made
Designed first
Each template starts as a design problem—who is this site for, and what does it need to say—before any component exists.
Built on Astro
Astro at the core, with TypeScript, a small client-side footprint, and dependencies chosen only when the project needs them.
Shipped with a README
Setup, content model, deployment, and customization notes travel with the code, versioned alongside it.
Kept current
Updates and compatibility fixes are published as versioned releases while a template remains actively maintained, with changes listed on its product page.
